Kent Blazy & The 4 Peace Band
Kent Blazy is a songwriter, singer and performer based in Nashville, TN. He met Garth Brooks in 1989, and a friendship and writing partnership was born. The first song they wrote together was "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and was Garth's first #1 song. They have had three more #1s including “Ain't Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up” as well as twelve additional songs on Brooks’ albums. Kent also co-wrote Chris Young's first #1, “Getting You Home (The Black Dress Song)”, and has had other singles and album cuts by Kenny Chesney, Jon Pardi, Randy Houser, Clay Walker, Patty Loveless, Diamond Rio and many more.
The 4 Peace Band is comprised of Nashville studio musicians. Steve Bryant has played on multiple #1 records and toured with Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Reed and Dobie Gray. Steve Allen was in the LA power pop band 20/20 and has played with Sheryl Crow and Steve Cropper. Will Johnston has backed Van Morrison and played on many recording sessions. Cindy Blazy has sung with numerous vocal ensembles, covering backup harmonies for the 4 Peace Band for three years.
